Starliner Launch Postponed After Technical Issue

Subheadline 1:

Launch attempt rescheduled for Sunday, June 2

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – The launch of Boeing's Starliner spacecraft has been postponed after a technical issue was discovered during the final preparations. The launch was originally scheduled for Thursday, May 19, but is now being rescheduled for Sunday, June 2, pending resolution of the issue.

The issue is related to a valve in the spacecraft's propulsion system. Engineers are working to resolve the issue and ensure that the spacecraft is safe for launch.

Boeing is disappointed by the delay, but safety is the top priority. The company is committed to working with NASA and the United Launch Alliance to resolve the issue and launch Starliner as soon as possible.

Starliner is a reusable spacecraft that is being developed to carry astronauts to and from the International Space Station. The spacecraft will be launched on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket.
